Pint can pours with a nearly perfectly clear pale gold colored body that supports a thin white head of foam. The aroma offers up, ok, here we go, a blend of sweet smelling pears and apple mixed with sharper smelling booze and chemical fusel like - what-have-you. The taste delivers that perfect blend of syrupy sweet ripe apple and pear fruity ester with sharp boozy and chemical burn. Without the booziness and associated flaws this thing would be way way too sweet. But this hits the mark. To top things off and swerve this a bit away from the proper style there's a mild hit of toasted biscuit drizzled with liquid drained out of a can of creamed corn. This added layer of complexity in a simple booze conveyance works. So this ticks all the important malt liquor boxes that other craft brewers trying make malt liquor miss. This is balanced man, balanced.
