Panda thanks to Ibrew2or3: Poured a deep brown core with reddish-orange edges, head is light brown. Aroma is dark fruit pits, rich malts, sugars, boozy. Taste is boosty boozy, rich malts, dark fruits, figs, dates, drying a bit in the finish.

Congrats to SHIG on reaching 10,000 ratings. Cheers buddy. Green waxed half liter bottle pours with a nice mahogany colored body that supports a tiny near white head of bubbles. The aroma comes across a little young with a cherry to cherry cough syrup, a bit of booze and a pleasing earthy basement sensation. The taste is similar bringing an upwelling of sweet dark fruity esters like cherries, plums and dates where I can get around a tiny boozy cherry cough syrup sensation. To midway the long boil time reduced sugars make an appearance to provide a deep rich sweetness that slides into a earthy basement character. This does need to mellow and come together a little better. Still darn good right now.
