Cask at The Old Black Bull, Preston. Pours a lot darker than I imagined, reddish amber. Thick white head, nice lacing. Aromas of light berries, caramel malt and citrus. Taste is quite sweet, could’ve taken a bit more bitter. not bad, but not that great either.

Found at The Watch Maker (JDW) in Prescot. This is a crisp golden ale with a very thin head. Easy to sup but with little flavour. Has a mild sweet aroma akin to winter berries.
