opalescent orange colour, pinkish off-whit head; aroma of raspberry, slight citric and wheaty notes; taste of sourish raspberry, some lemony, moderate hoppy bittery and bready notes; not bad

Bouteille 33cl au Grain d’Orge, Crissier. BB 01/2014. Couleur acajou, col épais disparaissant vite blanc-rosâtre. Arôme offre ce bouquet typique de framboise qui domine sans pour cela être surfait. Garde ce côté naturel avec des notes terreuses propres à la framboise. Bouquet subtile fleuri. Chose à noter, lorsque la mousse est présente, le bouquet s’en retrouve amélioré de ce parfum fruité frais de framboise. Palais pour une effervescence haute avec une framboise dominante. Cette dernière garde cette signature terreuse de baies de terre. Le malt d’accompagnement ajoute ce profil carapils pâle - froment. Fini est sec et le peu d’amertume de houblons (nobles type Hallertauer?) sont vite éclipsés par le fruité framboise. En tout fin de bouche, je note ce côté aigre de la framboise. Ici du jus, il serait intéressant de voir le résultat avec des framboises entières.

Bottle 330ml. @ home.[ Trade by fiulijn ]. Unclear matt light to medium grey - red colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light malty, moderate yeasty, raspberry, initial aroma is also tart raspberry, finish aroma is also artificial sweet raspberry. Flavour is moderate sweet and light light acidic with a long duration, raspberry, thin, watery, frozen raspberries, paper - yeast notes. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. Cloudy reddish color with compact pink head. Strange aroma: dirty water, light berries. High carbonation and smooth mouthfeel; simple flavor, with just some raspberry contribution; almost no bitterness; very boring; there is a light breadish aftertaste.
Although not offensively bad, this beer is not the best in its style.
