Raspberry mead aged in old Plantation rum barrels for 11 months.

Very old Plantation rum from Barbados (11 months aging)
*These barrels originates from around the 90's. They were used to make whiskey by Willowbank Distillery before they were shipped to Barbados to further age rum. Willowbank ceased operation all the way back in 1997!*

Absolutely solid rock.
Tasty as f…..and not to sweet
Loads of red berries and a fine rum flavor in the back

Bottle pour at haandfest. Pours unclear red, nose is raspberry, honey, funk, raisin, taste is jammy berries, sweet honey, rum and raisin in the finish. Quite hot! 8/9/9/8/8

Bottle, at Haandfest. Delicious aroma of raspberry with a wonderful rum addition. Almost equally complex flavor. Really nice this one. 848416 250509

0,75l bottle at home during Charity Tasting. Red lightly hazy color, no head. Smells berry notes, honey, raspberries, buddy. Very nice smell. Full body, no carbonation. Tastes honey, berry notes, raspberries, light medicine. Finishes rather sweet with notes of berries and honey. Very good but quite sweet
