Cask (handpump) @ Maltings, Tanners Moat, York, North Yorkshire, England YO1 1HU.Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dusty, sweet tobacco, cinnamon. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long to average duration, spicy bitter, cinnamon dusty, dry. To much spices for me, otherwise made okay. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130122]

(cask@Catford Bridge Tavern) Copper/amber pour with a dissipating small white head. Aroma is caramel with spicy fruit and cinnamon notes. Taste caramel malt spicy dark fruity character, pine and very strong cinnamon. Not a bad seasonal ale overall for me, me but the Mrs really loved it (D16)
