Cask @ Dockyard, Salford. Copper with an amber glow and a small head. Malty-sweet with a pleasant spice that’s not overbearing.

Cask (handpump) @ Slip Inn, Clementhorpe, York, North Yorkshire, England YO23 1AN.Clear medium to dark red orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, wood, light to moderate hoppy, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, wood, nutty, sweet malt, spicy, anis seed. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130121]
