Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, bourbon, laberlaver, sweet candy. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, labelaver - bourbon, marmelate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130315]

Bottle @ Papsø. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty woody bourbon and caramel aroma. Fruity malty woody vanilla and caramel flavor. Has a sweetish malty woody bourbon finish.

Bottle @ Papsoe tasting. Hazy dark amber with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, toasted, bourbon and vanilla. Flavour is malt, medium sweet, caramel, toasted, bourbon, hop, little bitter with notes of alcohol.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of SpringsLicker. Pours a hazy amber with a tiny off-white head. Sweet Bourbon aroma, a little tart. Rich body, thick burned caramel, sweet vanilla and oak. Again a slight tartness. Very enjoyable. 150313

Bottle thanks to torino. Pours with a hazed brown body and tan head. Aromas of brown sugar, maple, bourbon, molasses, dark fruits, vanilla and leather. Flavors are caramel, fruity, husky, bourbon and a bit of diacetyl in the finish. Creamy carbonation.

bottle thanks to BS, pours brown with a medium tan head. Aroma is all barrel, oak, vanilla, light sweet bourbon tones. Flavor is sweet caramel malts, dark fruit, and strong vanilla and wood with only light whiskey notes. Very well done.
