This beer pours a clear reddish-brown color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of cherry, butterscotch and spice. Light to medium body with flavors of tart cherries, earthy yeast and malt. The finish is moderately sour with a cherry and berry aftertaste. Decent overall.

750 mL bottle from State Line Liquors, bottled 3/20/12. Pours a clear red color with a large frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of tart cherries, earth, citrus, mild vegetal notes. The taste is intense tart cherries, caramel, citrus, some peppery spice. Medium bodied, lingering tartness, high carbonation, nicely sour. Nice beer.

Bottle 750ml. corked.Clear medium red orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white - light pink head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, wood, fruity, light hoppy, cherry notes, light wood - oak. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate acidic with a long duration, tart fruit, wood. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130405]

Bottle as shown. Pours a clear orange with medium frothy white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is sour cherry and funk. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet cherry flavor and very tart finish. Good.
