(Can) Pours an attractive hazy reddish amber with a short lived dense white head. Lovely aroma of plums with a sour note to it. Great mouthfeel. Full bodied, soft, almost creamy with plenty of fine carbonation. Great taste, and very unusual. The dominant flavour is plums and they are really nice. There’s then plenty of sourness giving a nice bite without being mouth-puckering. There’s some spices, cloves most distinctly, plus some earthy and funky notes in the background. Really enjoyable, refreshing and unusual. If I had been served this without knowing it was a beer, I am not sure I would have identified it as a beer as it is so fruit driven.
