(Can) Pours clear red brown with small tan head. Aroma is pleasantly and surprisingly smoky. Medium body with good carbonation giving a very pleasant mouthfeel. Taste is very good too. There’s a restrained dark toffee flavour that gives a mix of sweetness and burnt sugar bitterness. There’s hints of smoke, bread, dried fruit. The finish has a pleasant hoppy bitterness. Very good.

Pint on tap at taphouse. Red/bronze beer with foamy white head. Zero carbonation. Smoky sweet malt nose. Flat mouthfeel, light body. Smoky sweet taste with notes of dark caramel and tobacco. There's a late touch of bitter dark fruit. Nothing outrageous but right on style.
