The classic English Gin & Tonic in beer form! With a healthy dose of Juniper Berries in the boil with more added post fermentation to kick off the gin flavour we then dosed with a huge dry hop of fresh Citra for the zesty Lemon aroma. Fermented with Champagne yeast for a dry finish and Lactose for a hint of sweetness.

Bottle from Blind tiger on holiday in North Yorkshire/. Deep amber colour with an off white head. Aroma and taste are malty floral pine and sweet to bitter. Really boozy. Sweet finish. Full body.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenny, 26/01/2025.
Almost clear golden amber topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is orange zest, herb, grass, lemon nip, botanical notes, straw.
Taste comprises bitter orange, balsa wood, herb, citric tinged straw, gin essence.
Medium bodied with bite, light spritzy carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow spike of alcohol.
Okay hybrid affair and whilst not a chore to drink I wouldn't be wanting too much of this.

Hazy dirty amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Airy malts, a fair caramel streak, not particularly sweet. A floral and slightly spicy pine. Decent gin like botanicals. Airy finish. Okay then! A decent attempt at a Gin like beer. As a dipa, I would say this is a long way short of the mark. If it was sold as a gin like Barleywine, that would be a lot more sympatico with what has been brewed.
