Opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Airy palate, sem dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Tangy dark malts, funky, Feels like this one caught a bug. Trace of malt roast. Reasonable rum here, fruity rum. Light finish. Overall it's a bit tangy and lacks a good malt backbone, but it's okay.

Bottle from Hoptimism. Dark brown pour with a beige head. Nose of molasses, blackcurrant, tobacco, plum pudding, varnish. Flavours of dark plum, lots of rum notes, blackberry jam, licorice toffee. Warm, long spicy finish. Very good indeed.
