A full bodied red ale with Liberty, Centennial, Citra, and Galaxy. This is a nicely sweet red ale with some biting hops and the pleasant tropical flavours of the hard to find Australian hop, Galaxy.

Bottled. Rubyish amber colour with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma is mild toasted, some floral and mild biscuity tones. Flavour is toasted, some dried fruits, mild floral and some sweet malts to it. Smooth, and has a quite nice body to it.

Tap at the Howling Hops Tank Room, Hackney, London. A dark amber coloured pour with a thin off white head on top. Fruity, malty, caramel aroma. Tastes similar, fruity, malty, caramel. Lacking complexity.

Light haze on this deep amber beer, good cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Fluffy malts, mildly sweet, thin and tangy caramel. Mild pine into ripe orange peel and marmalade. Trace of hop skunk. Whisper of red berries. Light crisp finish. Nice enough but lacks something to make it shine.

Cask at Cock Tavern, Hackney. Caramel and grain aroma. Ruby tinged amber. Very thin off-white head. Light caramel.sweetneds mixed with a light bitterness. A vinous finish. The latter peaks into the finish. Medium bodied. Slick, almost sticky. Long finish. Decent. Enjoyable.

330ml bottle shared with Finn at Soured Market, St Pancras. Beige head, lacing rings, clear copper coloured body. Delicate fruity caramel malts on the nose. Flavoured with toffee, caramel and red orange, a bit jam-like. Gentle dry bittersweet end. Medium bodied. Nice (London 26.04.2017).

Bottled 330ml (AbM)
Amber color, huge off-white head, lace. Semi-gushing even. Aroma is dryish with crystal malty berryish aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Caramel, a bit berryish. Some grapefruity citrus hops lurking in the background. Too much crystal malts for my liking, some hops but could use a bit more. Bottle maybe also a bit overcarbonated although not infected or anything like that.
