Bottled 330ml (Pub Winston)
Dark opaque brown-black color, small brownish head. Aroma has rubber, licorice and roasted maltyness. Medium to full-bodied. Roasted maltyness, "burned rubber", alcohol although still drinkable with its 11%. Easier version of Mikkeller Black. Hmm .. even kind of tasty.

Bottle@TTBS, Copenhagen - Black pour with tan head. Roasted and sweet malty with notes of chocolate and caramel, slight charred burnt notes going on, pretty decent overall.

Malzig würziger, eher brotiger Antrunk. Später leicht schokoladig, trocken ohne Süße, die das Malz pushen könnte. Kurz alkoholisch im Nachhall. 11/10/11/11/11/11

0,33l bottle at home. Couldnt find a BB date. black color, small tan head. smells earthy, light smoke, licorice, ice cream, light fruity notes, bitter chocolate, some wood. quite subtle but also very refreshing smell. great and unique. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, licorice, some alcohol, bitter chocolate, coconut, light spices, some vanilla. finishes rather creamy with notes of licorice, coconut, light sweetness and some bitter chocolate. very nice one, lovely creamy taste, good complexity. very enjoyable beer.

Bottle from Au Brin De Paille, Colmar, Alsace, France, consumed whilst watching England dominate but draw 0-0 with Slovakia at Camping Trois Château Eguisheim, Alsace, France, Monday 20th June 2016. Pours black with a light beige head atop. This is a very solid Impy Stout, drinks far too easily and isn’t the least bit cloying or heavy. Good steady light hoppy vein throughout, roasty with nice bitter chocolate and cocoa powder. I like this, it isn’t massively in yer face, it is just a bit too easy drinking. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8
