A deep golden session ale brewed from barley, wheat and crystal malts. Full bodied and malty with moderate bitterness, generous quantities of the distinctive Columbus hop are added at the end of the boil to impart intense aromas of pine and grapefruit.

Cask at the Shovel, Lye. Pours dark gold with a medium head. Aroma is sweet grassy pine. Taste has sweet grassy herbal hop.

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a head. Hoppy, although a little dense with this. Has an acute sugary nose, with a small bitterness.

Cask at the Alexandra Hotel, Derby. Gold pour with a white head. Light malt and soft fruit aroma. Good fruit burst in the flavour. Good session beer.
