19.2 oz. can from Total Wine, San Antonio, TX. Pours a crystal clear gold color with a large off-white head and great retention. Very good lacing. The aroma is all hops with limited juicy notes. The taste is even hoppier than the aroma, with less tropical notes and a noticeable boozy finish. This is definitely for hop heads, not me. All hops and alcohol. Medium body, medium carbonation, and medium bitterness.

Karbach has a nice brewery to visit, went there last year with the prodigal son. And the brews are mostly good too, most important. I have a 12 oz can that was picked up at one of the Total Wines I have been to in the recent past. Staying inside of H-Town I have a Great Heights snifter in place and ready to catch the pour. An orange-gold liquid with a stout head of creamy, light beige foam. I smell tropical certainly and some pine in the background, nothing grand. But the drink is a large step up. Mango, grapefruit, a dank hoppiness, malt and a honey sweetness along with a surprising, though small bitterness. This one tilts towards NE style. Covers that map fairly well, I would buy again.
