This 16 oz can of Little Nero was located at the local beer shop. Keeping it in the Metroplex, I am using my Cowtown snifter for the sampling. The appearance is a cloudy, hazy, lemon gold followed by a billowy top of off-white foam. I smell a lot of fruit with some hoppiness lurking in the background. The taste is essentially pretty good and this coming from someone who is no fan of the NE style. Quite malty, grapefruit, a bit of pineapple to sweeten things up, bread and yellow fruit, perhaps nectarine. Decently bitter for a NE style and rather dense, two pluses in my book. I am pleasantly surprised all the way around. I'd still take a hop bomb from back in the day but this beer sorted out all right.

On tap @False Idol. Pale yellow, super hazy, borderline milkshake. Sweet onion bright orange, same shit. Onion orange hybrid, maybe too astringent, super pithy on the finish. Too one sided.
