I'm recent to 903 as a brewery but by the name of this beer, well, they got me. A potent, old school IPA, bring it on. My most used New Belgium globe glass gets the honors tonight, the pour is being made. I determine a mostly clear, gold-yellow liquid followed by a strong head of almost white foam. I like the smell, takes me back, pine right off, grass and just enough citrus. And the drink, it is welcome also. Pine needles, bark, hops, malt, honey, mango, just enough lemon to register and melon. Really, this is a decent brew and I do not put IPAs near the top in my favorite styles, mostly I harangue. I don't recognize the hops varieties other than Citra, so where is the Gorilla Glue? Let me settle into the long discounted bitterness and enjoy the ride.
