Pours pitch black with a tan head.Nose shows roasted malt, rum, liquorice, coconut.Flavours include more heavy roast, liquorice, rum, trusted oak. Very sweet and roasty.

Dial me up a new Clown Shoes imperial stout, my first one in awhile. I have a stovepipe can from Mr. T’s locally, lifting the tab and pouring into my appreciated Cowtown snifter. Darker than death body with a here and diminishing top of dark brown foam. The smell, oh, delightful. Dark chocolate, whole grain bread and alcohol. A taste finally, nice. Bitter chocolate, cocoa, burnt pecans, syrup, a hint of vanilla and booze. Some sweetness, same with the bitterness. A fine representation of the style.
