Iβm holding a pint can of Honey Pilsner brought to me from Massachusetts by a friend of the family. A new brewery, that is good. A pilsner, that is unexciting. But we try them all, donβt we. I open the can and am tasting it that way. Well, I do say, for a pilsner, this is a step up. Malt, a corn presence, crackers and the honey is there. Different in a good way.

Tap at the brewpub - Amherst. Pours clear yellow with a fine, creamy white head. Simple pale bread character, some white sugar and hay. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with wet hay and sugary white bread. So so.
