Off amber colour. Slightly cloudy. Minimal head, looks ok. Nose slight, hints of fruit, apricot maybe, light citrus. Taste slightly malty, slightly hopped. Watery, falls away steeply. Typical German prize winning middle of the road mediocrity. Wouldn't get a look in anywhere else.

330ml bottle. Clear, copper-ish, amber colour with average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Slightly grassy, fruity, minimally piney, hoppy and caramel malty aroma, some yeasty fruitiness, hints of red berries, blue berries, pear, pineapple; fruitiness with slight jelly bear character, minimally phenolic overtones, banana. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty, slightly citrusy and fruity, minimally piney hoppy, a touch of red berries and lemon. Watery-oily texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, soft to flat carbonation. A bit anaemic, uncharitably crafted, almost a bit insipid - so-so.
