Bottle from Thomas Tallis Canterbury and drunk at home. Dark ruby black beer lasting thick tan head. Liquorice and dark chocolate on aroma. Some dark fruits. Good mouthfeel. I mean it’s got too much liquorice for me, but actually it’s not too bad. Some soy sauce. Hides ABV well. If you like chocolate covered liquorice this will be your thing. It’s not for me. But as I say the mouthfeel is good. Some bitterness on the finish, some blackcurrant.
