Can. Mitchell’s Wines, Sheffield. Pale gold, with a moderate haze. Thin swirl of lacing, lasting, white head. Nose has dried pineapple. Candied peel. Peach stone. Some grassy notes. Sweet oats. Taste is light sweet, firstly, getting a little dry, and floral bitter. Quite crisp and drying on the palate. Bright carbonation. Gets more bitter as it goes, finishing up a little mineraly, and floral.

Draught @ Cloudwater Barrel Store, Manchester. Pours hazy yellowish with a smooth head. Aroma of herbal hops, grass, pine and citrus. Taste is smooth, herbal hoppy and piney with some citrus, grass, fruits and hints of tropical notes. Finish is smooth and grassy hoppy with some pine and citrus, hints of herbal notes. Okay, sweetish and piney but could’ve used more bitterness.

Keg at the Barrel Store. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Aroma is bitter pith, grapefruit and peppery hop. Taste is quite mellow melon at the start before the peppery hop kicks in giving a nice lift before leaving a nice dry bitter finish. Good stuff
