DoppelRock is a doppelbock aged in rum barrels. The slightly sweet malt of the doppelbock provides the perfect backbone for the brown sugar booziness from the rum barrels. This beer is seriously rich, dark, strong and smooth.

22 oz waxed cap bomber poured to a tulip. Murky reddish brown pour with a swirl a foam head. Bready malts and soft dark fruit nose. Not as much barrel as I expected here, but its there. Slightly rich taste. Smooth finish, amd easy drinking for double digit barrel aged brew. Unique and ultimately interesting.
