A German-style Dunkel lager. One of the most talked-about beers by our staff when it was first brewed in 2019, and frequently called a favorite by many of our visitors. Notes of banana bread and nutty caramel with a low degree of bitterness. This beer was also named Best of the Pacific Northwest by the US Beer Tasting Championship in 2020.

Draft pour enjoyed at Reuben's. Clean, dark copper appearance. Patchy fizz head. Aroma is rich grain and metallic character. Some corn like malt flavor, with high carb, metallic tones, more or less clean finish. Lots of bite. Stinging malty lager. I can't complain too much about the lack on originally when there is only so much you can do with the style. Enjoyable for sure.
