Milestone rate, and though I don't rate beers as often anymore as I want/wish (especially from these guys), it's still fun to sit back and enjoy a party themed brew from my favorite guys, and pick apart every well crafted detail of the beer one by one. It's totally unnecessary, and I sometimes prefer to just drink the beer, and leave it with a simple damn that was good mental review. 6000th beer rating, and a lot of my favorite and most memorable came from these guys. So, fitting choice today. Medium haze, pale golden pour, lots of head and lacing. Enjoyed on tap at Special Brews. Melon hoppy nose. Taste is yet another dangerously smooth imperial offering from these guys. Fresh melon cut, citrus mild. Moderate bitter follow through. Very nice imperial.
