Medium beige head. Opaque black body. Roasty yeasty earthy aroma with chocolatey metal notes. Dry-sweet roasty earthy toasted rice taste with earthy spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish roasty earthy chocolate aftertaste with peppery metallic notes. Kind of harsh and metallic, but still nice. (0.33l draft at brewpub.)

Draught, 4.5% at the brewpub. Distinct plastic aroma with some raw liquorice. Almost black colour. The flavour has plastic and raw liquorice. The mouthfeel not as good as expected from an oatmeal stout. The plastic note is off-putting, it was there just when they opened, so perhaps that is why.

250ml on tap at the brewpub. Shiny black surface to a devil-black body. No lacing. Slightly roasted, mid-sweet, malty aroma. Grainy malts in flavour balanced by herbal hops. Mild roasted ending. Satisfying (Copenhagen, 22.05.2013).
