The second beer brewed for the Hop and Hound's 4th Anniversary is basically an American Wheat Ale brewed with a blueberry Belgian candi sugar specially made by our friends at Cascade Beer Candi Company. Slightly purple in color and extremely refreshing to drink, the fruitiness of the blueberry and slight tartness of the skin shine through because of the clean fermentation qualities of the Kolsch yeast strain we use.

Draft pour pint at Hop and Hound. Bummed I missed the anniversary, and 2 of the 3 beers, but glad I didn't completely strike out! Cheers to the anniversary of my ultimate local go to beer place as well. A memorable rate here, as a celebrate a milestone of a beer bar that I can call friends after many good times. Reddish pour, shady haze. Mixed berry aroma, slightly sweet. Flavor is really jammy. The wheat and berry combination creates a bit of a jelly sandwich reminder. Throw some peanut butter in this, and we might have something really interesting. Flavor doesn't scream blueberry, but a mixed red berry constant for sure. Wheat and barely tart berry finish. Enjoyed this beer.
