Cask at the brewery. A bit unclear rusty dark orange color, small beige head. Smell and taste malts, a hint of caramel, lightly bitter. Hmm not bad but a bit boring. Average body and carbonation.

Cask at Crate. It pours deep red-brown with a decent off-white head. The nose is earthy, toasted brown bread, wood and grain. The taste is bitter, toasty, earth, leather, varnish, brown bread, caramel and spice with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Ok bitter. Fairly standard, but not bad.
