Bottle from the Fat Cow, Lat Phrao, Bangkok. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a frothy short-lived, light tan head. The aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, hazelnut, The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter, light sweet with a crisp, roasty, slightly light, watery, liqouirce charcoal, light chocolate palate. Lingering liqouirce bitter finish with a frothy mouthfeel. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation. Nice but way too much carbonation for a porter and the coconut didn’t come through at all.
