Schwarz & Weiss (black & white) is a meeting of traditional German brewing art and the fantastic new influences from the U.S., especially dry hopping and flavor hops. This brew combines a pale bock with a dark bock with a mash of Munich, pilsner and dark caramel malt, with Hallertauer hops for bittering. It is then dry hopped with three different flavor hops, Hallertauer Perle, Saphir and Cascade.

Draft pour at Hop and Hound. Not sure if I'm more surprised to find this here, or that it lacks ratings. Both, I suppose. A dark copper like pour. Thick cream foam head. Thinks very unique. A good blend of rich caramel malt, and a more dark, roasted malt. A soft, bready side, but remains sharp overall. Slight notes of dark fruit too. Seems to have a little bit of everything going on. Very interesting beer. Great stuff.
