Our collaboration with Funkwerks took a saison recipe and we soured half to create a tart saison. A generous dry hop of Loral, Lemondrop and Citra adds lemon, light citrus, tropical and floral notes.

Draft pour at Hop and Hound. A pale golden pour with almost no head. Fun to see Funkwerks up here, even if it is a collab. Totally missed out on them while driving through Colorado a few years back. Total Berliner feel here, as mentioned in previous ratings. Lemon tart, and grain aroma. Flavor is more tart than expected, lemon, straw. Cool finish, with lingering floral notes. A lot of things going right here. A tasty sour for sure.
