Sampled at the NoVa Summer Beer Fest in Leesburg, VA on 6/25/11. Pours a hazy straw yellow color with a medium creamy tan head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of bready malts and grassy hops. The taste is green apple, grassy hops and a bready malt finish. Medium bodied.

Sample @ Brewpub, Capitol Hill
Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grain and floral hops. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Capitol City Brewing Company downtown 16oz ($3.50hh): Pours a darkish golden color with a nice looking head. Aroma is of sourdough, hops, and some other fancy jawns. Anyway, the taste was pretty legit. Moderate bitterness, definitely short of what pilsner could be, but enough to give it flavor. Some bread is up there. Wonderfully smooth and crisp. This is a beer worth having.

Shirlington Location. Orange color. Slightly sour aroma, nice hop aroma. Frankly I’m not a huge fan of lager type beers for the most part, but this one was just amazing. Flavor was smooth, and the aftertaste was fantastic.
