Appearance is a dingy, brownish amber with a minimal head; aroma is sweet, grainy, with a little bit of fruit in the background. Flavor is nice, of fruit (banana and citrus), yeast and a bit of a tart character that is tough to describe. It almost stings a little, but it’s a good sting. It is much thinner than expected, however, and does not develop with the heavy sweetness that I expected.

Bottle. Dark hazy orange color. Fruity aroma, and a flavor of fruit, caramel, and wheat. Slight dry finish. I didn’t think it was too bad.

An unclear orange beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with powerful notes of wheat, and lesser notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet and as the aroma very wheat, and simple. The mouthfeel is very light, not as sweet and sticky as other Dunkles Weizen.
