bottle from Edeka Heilbronn. Golden with a white head. Grainy malty with shy hoppy hints. Why is this beer called Kraichgauer? It has nothing to do whatsoever with this region.

Vielen Dank an kevnic2008! Klare golden Farbe, wenig weißer Schaum. Geruch gering hopfig, grasig, malzig. Geschmack hopfig getreidig, floral, insgesamt aber etwas schwach, dennoch trinkbar!

Bottle 500ml. w. swing top @ home.Light unclear medium orange yellow colour with a large to huge, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, grain, hay, pale malt, light to moderate hoppy, dusty grass. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fruity malt, sweet malt, dusty grass. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130324]

Orange colored beer. Big caramell malty taste but only tiny sweetness. The bitterness is small that makes it an easy beer to drink.

Bottle at First German Ratebeer gathering (day 2) at Idar Oberstein courtesy of Bierkrug. Sweet barley malt and hay aroma. Clear golden yellow color with small head. Sweet barley malt and hay flavor. Very nice bottled Landbier.

Bottle courtesy of Bierkrug, thank you sir! Bright clear yellow, small white head. Aroma of hay. Taste is plain malt, scant bitter edge.
