Bottle from The Foundry and drunk at home. Amber orange colour with slight haze from pouring in a bit of the yeast. Lasting thin beige head. Not a lot of carbonation, in fact a bit flat in the mouth. I mean it’s quite syrupy and strong in the mouth. Yes some grapefruit hop, but not hugely bitter on the finish. For a beer that costs around £8 I think I expected a bit more. Made with green hops so you do get that gun metal flavour on the finish. Some toffee caramel malts, some pepper hop on the finish. A bit like the Fullers Vintage Ale I had last night, but not quite as good. It grew on me as I drank it, or was that the alcohol? Yes decent malt base and decent hops. I grew to like it.
