12 oz can poured, sent over by Hoff. Thanks! Actually really glad to try this one. I remember looking hard for North Dakota ticks long ago, and finally coming across the Sodbuster, and picking up a six pack. Enjoyed it a ton, and shared a can or two here and there, but have one can remaining, so I decided to enjoy the last can right next to this beer, being the base. Just reading the description here makes it sound like it’s a good base beer, with a bunch of stuff added that only can make it better. Also fun to not only try a new beer, but also try a new coffee, sorta. Cola brown pour with a slow fading head. Aroma is a bready malt, underneath a milk chocolate, vanilla, and the slightest espresso. A slightly rich, creamy chocolate base here, with some caramel, coffee notes that fail to be overpowering, which I can enjoy in a beer like this. Love the creamy vanilla and caramel flavor combination going on with this. Not surprised to read that this is so popular at the brewery. It’s a beer that can be enjoyed as a breakfast beer, dessert beer, or any time in between. Incredibly impressed, and only a little surprised by how much I enjoyed this one.
