Sky Dog beat out 157 entrants to win the Gold Medal for American-Style Light Lager at the Great American Beer Festival!
At WISEACRE, we bring together the highest quality North American two-row barley malt and corn from American fields to produce this A-MAIZE-ING beer. Saaz hops, of the highest excellence, are brought from the Czech Republic to lend a gentle balance to our superior brew. When set out to brew the finest American lager, we needed a brilliantly clear and bright beer, with a delicious crisp flavor, easy drinkability, and quenching aftertaste. For all your beer needs. With only 99 to its name, you can compromise on calories, not on refreshment. Lagered cold and long, it’s the perfect beer for sweltering baseball games, cool Fall mornings, Spring showers, or snow angels. Come fly the smooth skys with Sky Dog.

Perfectly fine light beer, not too sweet, with a good amount of toasted grain notes and a hint of floral bitterness. Good for what it is.

Refrigerated 12 oz can poured into a glass mug. Clear yellow with big white head. Aroma is light malt, light body, medium carbonatikn, and little lacing. Taste is light malt and crisp slightly floral hops.

Ok, this is a revision. In my college days. I was at the University of Tennessee. One of my favorite beers was Miller's Lowebrau on tap. Bottles were crap but on tap, to me, was heaven. This beer is close to that. Golden-yellow in color with a three-finger head. Aroma is grains. Taste is also grains.
