Super hazy golden/strawcoloured body witha thick, very dense five to six centimetre tall off-white head that stays afloat for a long time over the rich and 80 per cent opaque body. Aroma of dry grass and perfume with a light touch of limes and lemons and some white wine grapes and even tropical fruits noticeable. Light-bodied; Crisp, grassy, floral, perfumey and a touch tropically fruity notes show through with some very mellow hop bitterness and pungency, but really this is all about the dryness, perfumey and slightly citrusey notes which almost exclusively derive from the hops, with at least a mellow yeast and malt nose to let the hops shine through at least. Aftertaste is very dry, crisp, perfumey, dare I say, slightly soapy that has some nice flavours, but a bit too one-dimensional and 'crisp' throughout, to make this nice. Plus, without any alpha acids here and no real complexity on the tastes that come from the hops - this Riwaka is definitely not my favourite. Overall, at least nice to try this hop once, but I'm not such a big fan. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Wegman's [grocery] in Alexandria, Virginia on 16-December-2021 for US$1,99 (part of a mixed six pack), canned on 11-November-2021 and sampled at my house here in Washington on my second daughter's [lucky number] Seventh birthday on 02-January-2022 - Happy Birthday Paige!!!

Can (11/12/21) pour. It's an opaque light brown-dark yellow with no sparkle, finger-width off-white head with decent retention and light lacing. Aroma is moderately strong sweet fruit with identifiable peach and some chamomile tea. Taste is strong nonspecific citrus/fruit. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, not loving this the way I've loved other Riwaka beers. But, it's not objectionable.
