Zkittlez

Super hazy golden coloured body, with a dense, three to four centimetre tall pure white head that is very slow to fade. Aroma of lactose, light candy (could it be actual Skittles?), a dash of citrus and some lighter but noticeable hops with a trace of alpha acids. Medium to almost Full-bodied; Fairly rich malt flavours show at first with a clean-drinking wheatie quality, but then leading into the enjoyable but low bittering hops that show the citrus flavours, a hint of pine and some crisp dry grasses, all with a noticeable sweetness of lactose on the end. Aftertaste shows the softer wheats still with a good richness, but the finish all centres around the sweetness, lactose and small amount of hops that come through and leave this slightly dry and grassy, but very sweet and fruity. Overall, a pretty nice beer from Sycamore again, with a nice hit of lactose and very smooth, almost creamy wheat malt notes come through with a good balance across the board and a subtle candy-like end that makes this enjoyable and worth trying to find if you like the style! I sampled this sixteen ounce can, purchased from Harris Teeter in Arlington (Pentagon Row), Virginia on 24-March-2021 for US$1,87 sampled in my hotel room here in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania on 12-May-2021.
