Copper color. Nice IPA. Not really any different from other IPAs but it is really tasty. Leans more to the spruce-pine side than the citrus fruit side but they're both there. It is one of the better IPAs I've had.

Smells of resinous hops with a touch of citrus. The flavor is hop heavy, of course, with resin, a touch of citrus, and unusual herbal character. Medium to full bodied. It's an interesting take on an IIPA.

Very deep, perfectly clear amber, copper and strong bronze coloured body with a beautiful, three centimetre tall light brown head that fades slowly and leaves a nice oily glowy layer. Aroma of alcohol, pine, citrus, hay, metal, astringent medicinal notes, with a bit more nutty malts than expected, at least in the nose. Medium-bodied; Relatively rich malty, nutty and grassy malt notes that show at first with a very strong, sweet bite from grapefruit, pineapple, honey, resin and nuts with some astringency and medicinal notes that are quite strong, especially at the end. Aftertaste is robust, floral, grainy and quite sweet overall, with a good balance, but very strong flavours of both malt and hops, but also a lot of bitterness, sweetness and some grassiness, too. Overall, good and funky with tons of flavours, and while this doesn't seem Norwegian to me, it's a decent, slightly funky Imperial IPA option that doesn't fit the 'standards' of today and that in itself is a reason to try and find this one! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 24-October-2020 for US$4,49 sampled at my house here in Washington on 17-November-2020 after they received it into the store on 20-October-2020.
