Brewed and bottled for Mr Lawrence’s Wine Merchant, Brockley. Reddish- brown pour with an off-white head Toffee, cinnamon and caramel aroma. Quite a sweet nose. Figs, dates, cinnamon and cloves flavours. Most Christmassy indeed. Quite tasty, I’ve even got a three Kingsesque crescent moon shaped froth in the glass, spooky! Sweet ’n’ spicy feel. A fair old effort.

Cloudy amber beer, residual off white head. Palate is semi dry and crisp but notably thin. Lots of spices - cinnamon and ginger but not overdone. Lots of tangy fruits as well. Minerals. Semi dry finish. Not bad for the style.
