Cask handpull at The Swan, Ashford. I only came here because someone at the Rare Breeds said that the pub was stocking Wychwood beers at £1.75 a pint. And they were. And it is the nearest pub to me in Trashford!!!! Cor, how excited was I? I mean, I’m not a fan of Wychwood, the pub or Ashford, but to find a new beer, and a pub that will do real ale in Ashford is just beyond my wildest dreams. This is a dusty golden beer, bit yeasty bread. Some apricot fruit. Dusty hop. Served warmish, but fine and just amazing to find it in Trashford.
