33cl bottle care of Phil_L. Thanks Phil. Black with brown edges. Lasting tan head. I had this with dessert on Boxing Day (chocolate torte with raspberries) and it went pretty well with it. Good carbonation on opening. Pours well with lasting head. Slight charcoal on aroma along with the expected roasted malts. Dark choc and blackberry/black cherry aromas. A little over carbonated in mouth. Stunning chocolate flavours in the mouth. Great balance, not too oily or powdery. Quite juicy, but with good depth. Very choccy throughout. Really rather nice. Can’t say the alcohol threw it out of balance either. Good English Impy stout.
