Cask handpull at County Hotel JDW Ashford. Chestnut with thin beige head. I must of had a better pint than chris and mungo. This had lots of toffee and stilton on th e aroma which I admit is an odd combination, but it worked here. Choc malts and buttery toffee in flavour. Smooth in mouth with some earthy hop on the grainy finish. Toffee is rather dangerously moreish and I would have had anothe r if the Oakham Bishop’s Farewell wasn’t in such fine form. Which it was.
