Hmm. Interesting one this. Reading my original review the aroma and flavour etc were pretty accurate, but the conclusion was wildly out ! So rerating this from scratch NEW VERSION (FEB 2023) Cask at Horse & Groom, Derby (not listed on RateBeer). Pours a dark straw with minimal scummy white head and good lacing. There’s floral hops and citrus in the aroma. In the mouth bit is initially sweet before quickly becoming slightly bitter with fruity hops, grains, apples and bitter oranges. Plus hints of ginger later on. Finish is bitter and hoppy. This is a decent IPA. (rated 3.5) ORIGINAL REVIEW (SEPT 2019 Cask at Hogshead, Wolverhampton. Oranges and lemons in the nose. Pours golden orange with a small white head. A fruity mess in the mouth, bitter oranges, crab apples and peaches. Finish is sharp with plenty of hops, but they aren’t good ones. Rough – leaves me wanting to wash my mouth out ! (rated 2.0)

7/3/2019. Bottle from Brew Cavern, Nottingham. Pours pale gold with a small off-white head. Aroma of hops, light citrus, grass and straw, with light tropical notes. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Quite pleasant.

It's a fairly standard golden, citrusy ale. Not loads going on but it's hoppy and crisp and tasty.
