Bottle from British Local Craft. Just a vague aroma here, a mix of yeast and malts. Pours a chrome yellow with a small white head. In the mouth, it’s a toss up as to whether the old school hops, or the sweet and fruity malts hit the taste buds first. Just a hitn of some citrus as well. The bitterness wins out at the finish. I rather like this – though I’m not quite sure why !

Bottle from Ludlow Food Centre. Appearance - golden with a lovely white head. Nose - light citrus, grass and wholemeal bread. Taste - plant stalk and lemon barley water. Palate - light bodied, creamy texture, balanced bitterness. Overall - decent example of the style.

[50cl bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring.] A bright amber pour with a thin white head and ample lacing; hedbgerow fruit aroma; fruity taste, quite sweet to start, but developing a pleasing tartness; and a nicely bitter aftertaste. A satisfying, full bodied, bitter.
