Lloyd is named after one of Connors favorite movie characters, Lloyd Christmas.
The duo started Lloyd with a clean, dry base and hopped it with plenty of Freestyle Peacharine, New Zealand Cascade, and Nelson Sauvin.
Every golden pour surges with aromatic tones from those Southern Hemisphere cones. Hints of orange blossom and grapefruit zest lead the sip, followed by nuances of gooseberry, white peach, and kiwi fruit. Weedy undertones provide a balanced bitterness that flows into the cracker crisp finish.

16oz can from Tavour. Bright golden pour with a short-lived foamy head. Light citrusy aroma, floral notes too. Taste is fruity, hoppy, weak mango that leads up to a nice bracing bite at the finish. Kind of dry, but a really solid Pils.

On tap at Living Haus, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with bright piney hops, white wine tang, and melon, smelling more like an NZIPA than a pils. Flavour has a clean, vibrant, tangy hop character — beautifully showcasing the NZ hops. Bright, not too bitter, and beautifully constructed. Fantastic.

In the can aromas are New Zealand hops, malt and a bit of skunk. In the glass aromas are milder, loses some of the hops ad burnt rubber and mushrooms. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, hops come back out and is slightly more sweet than bitter with soft carbonation. Good but fairly happy for a pilsner.
