pours hazy pale orange with a large white head but little lacing. lots of ripe banana on the nose, bready notes. banana cake, actually. flavour of green apples and honey. smooth palate. why do they have to boast having gm-free yeast? do beers with gm yeast, hops or malts even exist, commercially? I would really like to buy one.

50cl bottle bought from some store in Lübeck. BBE 29.01.16. Pours hazy golden color with a thick, creamy white head. Aroma has banana, clove and wheat. Flavor is the same, ripe banana, wheat and some bun dough. Quite crisp though and refreshing. Medium bodied. Pleasant.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Dutchdrebus. Hazy pale yellow color, decent sized white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is sweetness and a bit dishwasher water. Taste is sweetish and slightly lemon-ish. Low to average body and carbonation.

Bamberg jolly day 3 26/01/2014. Bottle shared on the train. Aroma is spicy clove. Clouded yellow / greyish white head. flavour is bready dough, touches of sweetness. Harsh palate, carbonic acid, medium body. Overall all the blance is pretty decent.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein orangegoldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig, leicht würzig. Geschmack hefig, fruchtig, leicht bananig, etwas würzig.

0,5 l bottle. Pale unclear orange, nearly yellow in the glass, fine white head. A lot of banana with herb yeast on the nose. Starts the same, fresh, later a little bit chewing gum and low grainy. High carbonated. Maybe in my opionion a little bit too sweet. Nice average german Hefeweizen.

Day 3 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, bottle from the Rewe Bamberg shared on the train from Nuremberg to Freising, 26/01/14. Murky pale yellow with a good sized white head. Nose is pear drops, light yeast, bready, spice, ripe nana. Taste comprises yeast esters, light noffee pie, hint of cardboard, toffee, straw. Medium body, fine carbonation. So so hefe.
